Tudal Winery is proud to announce the release of the 7th vintage of our Gold Medal award-winning Tractor Shed Red.
In 1997, John Tudal dragged the family’s 1947 Massey Harris antique tractor out of the weeds and displayed it in front of the old dilapidated tractor shed. To make a long story short, the shed got a face lift and that old ’47 Massey Harris looks pretty darn good sitting out front. This blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Zinfandel is as unique and fun as that old tractor.
Tasting Notes
Sangiovese (60%) is the base providing the cherry, strawberry and up front fruit. Merlot (20%) generates texture and a nice velvety middle. Finishing up on the palate is Zinfandel (20%) providing the backbone and extra spice. Once you try Tractor Shed Red you’ll agree it’s a fun and enjoyable everyday wine from the Napa Valley.
